The Greater Bay Area International Clinical Trial Institute (GBAICTI) was pleased to host a delegation from the Royal Danish Consulate General in Guangzhou for a site visit to the Hetao area.
The delegation visited GBAICTI’s temporary office and biobank at the Central Government-Aided Emergency Hospital in the Hetao area, as well as key facilities within the Hong Kong-Shenzhen Innovation and Technology Park (HSITP). The visit provided a first-hand understanding of the region’s integrated ecosystem supporting clinical research, innovation, and real-world study and application.
The visit also offered an opportunity to highlight Hong Kong’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its clinical trial capabilities and accelerate the translation of biomedical innovation into clinical application. Through initiatives led by GBAICTI and related platforms, Hong Kong continues to enhance its role as an international hub for health and medical innovation, underpinned by its unique position as a gateway connecting Chinese Mainland and global markets.
GBAICTI values the exchange with the Danish delegation and looks forward to fostering deeper collaboration with international partners to advance clinical research and life sciences development in the Greater Bay Area.
