- Provide consultation services to industry and academia on clinical research processes to drive innovation.
- Promote the use of Real-World Data (RWD) and advanced technologies like AI and decentralized trials to strengthen Hong Kong's leadership in clinical research.
- Support the development of new research infrastructure, such as the biobank in the Hong Kong-Shenzhen Innovation and Technology Park (HSITP), to enhance research capabilities and foster Greater Bay Area collaboration.
Research Process Optimization & Innovation

- Improve clinical trial efficiency and accelerate initiation by addressing operational gaps.
- Launch the "Hong Kong Clinical Trial Digital Portal" to support investigators, sponsors, and participants.
- Leverage technology to enhance trial quality, meet international standards, and boost Hong Kong's competitiveness.
Human Resources Development & Strategy

- Establish the "International Clinical Trial Academy" to train and upskill clinical research professionals.
- Design training programs to address talent gaps and meet industry needs.
- Collaborate with universities to offer clinical research courses, ensuring a steady talent pipeline.
Global Communications & Engagement

- Organize and participate in events to enhance Hong Kong's global reputation and attract collaborations.
- Build local alliances, regional networks, and join international organizations to position Hong Kong as a research hub in Asia-Pacific.
- Engage with biomedical companies to support their clinical development goals in Hong Kong.
