The Greater Bay Area International Clinical Trial Institute (GBAICTI) hosted the inaugural Hong Kong Clinical Trials Roundtable on 6 January 2026, launching a new series designed to bring together key stakeholders to share insights and explore practical ways to enhance clinical trial efficiency and capabilities in Hong Kong and across the Greater Bay Area (GBA). The first session focused on the clinical trial regulatory landscape and brought together participants from pharmaceutical companies and clinical research organisations (CROs). GBAICTI extends appreciation to representatives from the Drug Office of the Department of Health, whose insights and clarifications on Clinical Trial Certificate (CCT) processes were invaluable.
