GBAICTI and Amgen Collaborate to Advance Healthcare Innovation and Improve Patient Care in Hong Kong

The Greater Bay Area International Clinical Trial Institute (“GBAICTI”) and biotechnology company Amgen today announced their collaboration through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding to strengthen capabilities and improve patient outcomes in Hong Kong and the wider Greater Bay Area (“GBA”).

Hong Kong’s strong clinical, academic and healthcare environment positions it well to support cross-boundary collaboration in biomedical innovation across the GBA. With a population of over 88 million across the GBA, the region provides opportunities for clinical research, real-world evidence generation and the development of more effective, accessible and patient-centered healthcare solutions.
The strategic collaboration will support the GBAICTI’s and Hong Kong’s broader commitment to advancing research and development, reinforcing its position as an international health and medical innovation hub.

Amgen draws on more than four decades of experience in biotechnology innovation and a deep commitment to applying science in ways that improve patient care. Through the collaboration, Amgen will contribute its scientific expertise and global experience in clinical research and real-world evidence alongside GBAICTI’s strong clinical and academic network in Hong Kong and the GBA.
